My name is Elgun. I was born in small country Azerbaijan. From my childhood USA was
dream for me, my dreams started with Hollywood films. But years later this dream updated little
bit. I dreamed to get education, not to be a film hero. I understand that I must improve my
business skills. In my country I tried to make my little own business 2-3 times, but I failed.
Sometimes capital is not the only thing for making a business. If you haven`t education in this
sphere you can`t do anything. It is not interesting to work for somebody during all of your life. I
noticed that sometimes an illiterate owner cheats employees for his company and income. Last
year. I decided to get masters degree in the USA. I am sure that Strayer will give me a future.
As a result, owning my own business will help me to make my wishes come true and not to be an
illiterate in this sphere.
Another reason I came back to college is very personal. Life is not so easy in my country as it
in the USA. You can only eat with your salary. You don`t have a chance for amusement. Now, it
is time to make something different for my parents. All I want is a happy life for them. I worked
about 2 years for my education fee. I will be first person in my family who will get an education
abroad. I will be so proud. This is one of my deep underlying reasons to finish school. Therefore,
I want to make history in my own family.
The last reason I chose to come back to school is to learn more about the English language.
Unfortunately, my English is not enough good for interesting dialogue. This made me feel bad
about myself and I want to prove those instructors wrong, enlarge my vocabulary and become
more confident in my abilities.
