My plan for satisfying the 135 clinical hour requirement for FNP594 includes working in the clinic with my preceptor a minimum of 17 hours each week. I find staying organized and getting ahead on assignments has been beneficial thus far. I hope to do this in this course as well.We are also required to complete journal entries on the different categories of patients that we see. For example, geriatrics requires 100 cases by the end of the program. Knowing this, I have created a tally sheet to track the number of patients in each category that I see to supplement the reports we run in project concert. I am also tracking the different type of procedures or the type of visit within that category. For example, project concert shows that 4 annual exam visits are required for each patient population or 2 radiograph interpretations.
